After the success of our last collaboration, Nikki from Lemon Drops Design and I have joined forces once more to create another inky / bracelet crossover. This time we’ve opted for a celestial theme! With the darker nights drawing in we’re going to be seeing a lot more of the night sky so we wanted to celebrate the beauty of it in this collection.
I have created a selection of bracelets using a handful of luxury Empire Jasper beads and Lapis Lazuli to compliment Nikki's earring collection.
Empire Jasper is all about encouraging being balanced and grounded as well as helping to nurture, protect, heal and help develop self-awareness. And Lapis Lazuli is said to help with confidence and bring love, harmony and creativity.
The Lapis Lazuli beads are a delicious rich navy blue with gold flecks, whereas the Empire Jasper beads are a beautiful purple mix with a painterly touch, and combined with gold and silver coloured star beads they bring the celestial collection together.
For Nikki's inky earrings, this time she drew inspiration from my galaxy paintings opting to use a swirly mixture of blues, pinks and purples to create the base and then accented this with a healthy splash of shimmering gold. This time Nikki focused on cutting celestial shapes, so lots of moons and stars feature here. Again, she has topped each piece with resin to protect the inks and allow that shimmer to shine through and used a range of charms to complete the look.
All the products in the collection are limited edition and only available in small numbers, though you will be able to purchase both earrings and bracelets from both the Lemon Drops and Rachel’s websites.
The Celestial collection will be launching on Friday 12th of November at 8pm. SHOP HERE FROM 8PM!!!
